Medication Management - Adults & Seniors

Laurie Dunne is a highly skilled physician’s assistant with over 30 years of experience treating patients with chronic mental health disorders.

She received her psychology degree from the University of Dayton in Ohio. She then pursued her master’s degree from Albany Medical College in New York.

Laurie began her career when mental health problems were rising, but there weren’t many outlets for treatment or help.

When she first started as a PA, most treatments were medications with various unwanted side effects and weren’t very successful.

Laurie has been a pioneer for mental health treatment, helping bring new and effective treatment strategies to the team at Cary Behavioral Health. She provides every patient with the best opportunities for unrivaled care.

She’s excited to provide medications and nonpharmacological options for patients suffering from mental health disorders like depression, anxiety, PTSD, OCD, and schizophrenia.

Along with her passion for helping patients, Laurie is also very active in the community around Cary. She participates in UNC “Free Moms” and Urban Ministries during her spare time.

She lives with her husband in Raleigh, North Carolina, and enjoys spending time with her family.
